Cast iron is characterised by high pressure and wear resistance as well as good vibration damping. Due to its brittle structure, cast iron has high rigidity and dimensional stability. This makes the JCMP particularly suitable for precise, durable and low-vibration support.

Electroplated chrome plating gives the cast iron a mirror-smooth, shiny surface with a high-quality appearance. The chrome layer acts as a barrier against moisture and oxygen, thus contributing to corrosion resistance.

In addition to its visual effect, chrome plating also increases the surface hardness and makes the cast iron more resistant to abrasion and mechanical stress.

Our chrome-plated machine feet are also easy to maintain: the low-porosity surface makes it difficult for dirt to adhere and is easy to clean. In addition, chrome-plated cast iron is characterised by high chemical resistance to many acids, alkalis and solvents.

The galvanisation of the threaded spindle also offers a high level of corrosion protection.

The Sylomer® damping plate, which is bonded with a special adhesive, effectively dampens vibrations and structure-borne noise. It is permanently dimensionally stable, ageing-resistant and weather-resistant. Sylomer® has good chemical properties against oils, greases, diluted acids and alkalis, as well as good UV and ozone resistance.

This levelling foot or machine foot is also available in black powder-coated cast iron.
